Riga Jazz Stage 2016 is upcoming, so we introduce composition selection by the brightest contestants of the last year. This selection includes many original compositions, such as Oskars Ozoliņš  - Above the Sand, and the Grand Prix winner, Austrian musician, Gerhard Ornig piece of music “???”, as well as jazz standarts.

 Albumā prezentēti vienpadsmit jaunie talanti - Grand Prix ieguvējs Daumants Kalniņš (Latvija), Ieva Paniulaityte (Lietuva), Tamuz Nissim (Izraēla), Polina Zizak (Krievija), Pol Omedes (Spānija), arī latviešu dziedātājas Beāte Zviedre un Kristīna Trezune, un citi.

Eleven young talents – Grand Prix winner Daumants Kalniņš (Latvia), Ieva Paniulaityte (Lithuania), Tamuz Nissim (Izrael), Polina Zizak (Russia), Pol Omedes (Spain), as well as Latvian singers Beāte Zviedre and Kristīna Trezune, and others – are presented in the album.

This album is the 3^rd contests’ music selection. Previous were released in 2008 and 2014.

All of the compositions were unique live recordings made during the Riga Jazz Stage 2015 on April 9 and 10 at Splendid Palace. Musical accompaniment – Viktors Ritovs (piano), Artis Orubs (percussions), Rihards Goba (guitar) un Edvīns Ozols (bass). Record released with the support of State Culture Capital Fund. 

CD is available in music shops River and Randoms, and during the contest Riga Jazz Stage 2016 time, which is to mention 7^th till 9^th of April with a venue of cinema Splendid Palace.
