Bio

Maria is a jazz vocalist in the LA area who shares her take on jazz through her youthful arrangements of standards and affinity for Brazilian music. In addition to her solo work, she currently sings in the premiere vocal jazz ensemble Pacific Standard Time at California State University, Long Beach. She is featured extensively as a soloist on the 2012 CD "Imagine" and 2011 CD "Singin' In The Rain", both recorded by Mt. San Antonio College's vocal jazz ensemble Singcopation and awarded for "Outstanding Performance" by Downbeat Magazine.
