Bio

Kilian Sladek is a young jazz vocalist, composer, lyricist and performer from Munich, Germany. Since 2013 studies at the University of Music and Theatre Munich. During the studies Kilian has already had an opportunity to work together with different artists from Germany, such as Philipp Weiss and Anne Czichovsky, as well as other international jazz musicians, like Sanni Orasmaa (FIN), Vivianne de Farias (BRA) and Sandy Patton (USA).  

In 2015 Kilian decided to spent a year abroad to study with the Latvian jazz-icon - Inga Bērziņa. Inspired by all the experience he could take back home from Latvia, Kilian founded his own quartet Kilian Slader Quartet or simply KSQ.

Besides writing lyrics for 15 of Wayne Shorter's works in German, Kilian Sladek recently composed a new program called 'Dream Journey' consisting of his original music.  

At the moment Kilian works on releasing his EP 'Dream Journey' with the KSQ, finishing his Bachelor of music, as well as several Bigband projects.
