You can vote for the sympathy of the audience in both categories of the competition – jazz vocalist and jazz drummer. One voice per day is accepted from one IP address in each category. The winner will be announced on the closing day of Riga Jazz Stage on April 9 and will receive the latest generation smartphone.

“The Audience Award is an important recognition for every participant in every competition,” emphasizes Māris Briežkalns, the artistic director of Riga Jazz Stage. “The winners of the main prizes are determined by an international jury, but the audience's sympathy award means that the artist has managed to touch a simple listener with his performance, who evaluates mainly based on his music lover's emotions, and this is not insignificant.”

“Jazz is a conversation between hearts, so communication and sympathy between artists and viewers is an essential part of jazz,” says Ilze Žukova, Tele2 brand manager. “We are pleased to be able to help create a platform for young and promising artists so that they can apply and prove themselves to both Latvian and foreign listeners.”

Riga Jazz Stage will take place for the 13th time and will bring together vocalists and drummers from different countries. A prominent international jury will also arrive in Riga, making Riga Jazz Stage a jazz event marked on the world map of this genre.

The special guest will be the Grammy Award nominee, Thelonious Monk winner, composer, singer and drummer Jamison Ross from the United States, who will perform at the concert on April 9th.

The event is organized by the Foundation Contemporary Music Center, supported by Riga City Council, State Culture Capital Foundation, Tele 2, A&T Trade and others.
