Judyta Pisarczyk is a modern jazz vocalist who performs both her own compositions and interpretations of jazz standards. A particularly unusual concert awaits Riga music connoisseurs on October 23, when German keyboardist and experimenter Ralf Schmid will perform in the Latvian Radio Studio 1. A musician who plays two Steinway & Sons grand pianos with the help of special electronic devices, controlling them with sensor movements of the hands drawn in the gloves... It is technically complex and exciting concert project Pyanook. The Belgian music magazine Crescendo Magazine has called it “the leading piano music of the 21st century”.

XY Quartet is one of the most recognized bands on the Italian new jazz scene. Four released albums and countless concerts both at home and abroad have made it possible to succeed in international jazz circles, and the Italian music magazine “Musica Jazz” has named the quartet “one of the best Italian bands”. Founded ten years ago, the band includes saxophonist Nicola Fazzini, bassist Alessandro Fedrigo, vibraphone player Saverio Tasca and drummer Luca Colussi. XY Quartet creates original, exciting and innovative music which will be heard in Riga on October 31.
