Salliel was born in Mersin, Turkey. His first musical experiences started at the age of 9 with the help of his father Mümin Salliel, a great saxophonist himself. Over the last 5 years, he has been featured on the records of many jazz, fusion, pop and pop-rock musicians, as well as has performed in their concerts. Among his most significant projects are the Salliel Brothers What Da Funk Project, Askın Arsunan Jazz Ino Band and Istanbul Superband.
