Bio

Robert is a young bass player from Tallinn, Estonia. He has played the Double bass since the age of six, started his studies in Turku, Finland, after continued in Tallinn Music Highschool. He has also studied abroad in Hungary for a year with Csuhaj-Barna Tibor. Currently, he is studying in the graduating class of Tallinn Georg Otsa Music College.  

Robert has taken part in many International music projects such as, Close Encounters in Helsinki, Music creates in Ireland and many others. He has won the 3rd prize in the 5th, National Doublebass competition in Classical music.

At the moment he is active in many collectives. With a gypsy jazz trio Titoks they performed at the Jazzincubator stage in Lillehammer Jazzfestival in 2017 and Tudengi Jazz 2018. With Alfa they are recording an EP album.
