Ajda is a student at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She has won a number of Slovenian Youth Competitions and was presented to the public in 2012 and 2013 when she performed at the Festival of Slovenian chanson and the festival “Slovenska popevka” (Slovenian popular song) – a contest that stems back 50 years ago.

In July 2013, Adja attended the Berklee Umbria Jazz Clinics in Perugia, Italy, and was the only of 60 singers from 29 countries who received the special recognition - a partial scholarship for studies at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
