Bio

Belyana Hristova - Bella is a singer, songwriter, producer, arranger, composer, band leader and multi-instrumentalist. After performing for two years at Howl at the Moon piano bar in Boston, recording an EP in Nashville, TN and winning second place at the prestigious American protégé contest in the Broadway/Jazz category, Bella is back in her home country Bulgaria to explore some more of the traditional Bulgarian folklore so she could implement it in her new future projects.

Bella was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She started playing piano at the age of six and has been in love with music since then. In addition to playing and singing, Bella spent much of her childhood exploring and developing a proficiency in Bulgarian folk dancing and studying languages and History. 

Bella attended a five-week summer program at Berklee College of Music in the Summer of 2013 and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production from in December 2016. She also has a degree in Marketing from the University of Plovdiv.
